In New York City, a parking garage attendant shot a thief who attacked him. The attendant was then arrested and chained to a hospital bed despite being the victim of the thief’s attack and only acting in self defense.

Hypothetically, any illegal action directed toward this individual would likely not receive as much negative attention as with a normal person. I can’t imagine pigs would be interested in spending much time protecting a thief who already had a record for behaving this way.
